It’s hard not to feel like a number when visiting healthcare systems these days. In fact, you can feel more like you’re part of a herd of cattle than an individual person. At El Camino Hospital, they know this and do everything possible to make you feel warm, cared for and human. After all, everyone that comes in to ECH has a life. Interests. And loved ones. The assignment was to produce a campaign that built on that strategy, but to do it in a fresher, more unique and inspiring way. The solution: a graphic visual approach that played off dictionary-like definitions over wide, beautiful imagery of patients doing what they’ve always loved. After all, nobody should be defined by their health issues.
