In 2010, America’s gulf coast suffered an environmental tragedy beyond words. Being a lover of our precious natural world, this hit me hard. One of the brands I was working with at the time was Maxwell House Coffee. My partner and I came up with a quick and urgent idea to ship truckloads of coffee to help all the people who were working day and night in the massive clean-up effort. Not only were we quickly given the green light to produce an awareness campaign, but it spawned a whole new company-wide initiative named “Drops of Good” to do a better job of helping people around the country where needed. To this day, it remains one of my most heartbreaking but also proud creations.
